The data visual, developed by Dataful on behalf of Free Press Unlimited, aims to provide a comprehensive and comparative view on distribution of deaths with Covid-19 symptoms across Bangladesh. Death reports have been collected from eight Bangladeshi prominent media outlets: Bangla Tribune, bdnews24.com, Daily Star, Ittefaq, Jugantor, Kaler Kantho, Prothom Alo, and Samakal. District level confirmed case data has been collected from DGHS. All the data are available in public domain.
The data visual will help readers to find information about: (a) difference in age range of people who died with Covid-19 symptoms in Bangladesh, (b) gender distribution among the people who died with Covid-19 symptoms, (c) identify places where more deaths occurred with Covid-19 symptoms.
